200 points = $25 dollars off your next treatment or purchase of Latisse.

Facial Fillers

Injectable fillers are commonly used to restore facial volume as well as fill in deep grooves and lines such as nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines and vertical lip lines. Hand rejuvenation is also an area where fillers are being used. Determining which filler is right for you depends on various factors including your goals, anatomy and history.

We will work with you as a team to determine which injectable is best for you.

Injections are generally well tolerated and performed with local anesthesia. There are some new injectables that provide the numbing medication with the same injection as the filler, rather than a separate injection of the anesthetics followed by the filler. This convenience minimizes the additional needle pokes.

Injectable fillers provide only temporary correction. Treatments need to be repeated if you would like to maintain the results. Some fillers are FDA approved to last up to one year however how each persons body breaks down each filler is different. Additionally, depth of injection contributes to longevity.

After your filler injections it is normal to have some redness, swelling, bruising or other local side effects. It is also common to “feel it there” for a little while as you adjust to the filler. Additionally, you may feel “lumpy or bumpy” soon after injections however that resolves as well.

Other more rare side effects may include infection, longer lasting swelling, uneveness or firmness on the treatment area. Some injectables carry a risk of temporary discoloration.

Juvederm XC is similar to Juvederm Ultra however this formulation has lidocaine, a local anesthetic, infused with the filler. Lastly, there is also Juvederm Ultra Plus which was made for deeper lines.
